How to Play Opinion Trading ?

Opinion Trading is an exciting fantasy sports game where users trade opinions on various events across multiple categories. Users can participate in Yes/No contests or Poll contests, investing in their predictions to win.

How to Play: Regular Yes/No Contests

Select a Category:
- Choose from available categories (e.g., cricket, football, elections).

Choose an Event:
- Select an upcoming or ongoing event within the chosen category.

Answer Questions:
- You will see a set of yes/no questions related to the event. For example, “Will India win the match against Pakistan?”

Place Your Trade:
- Decide your answer (Yes/No).
- Choose a price from the fixed set (e.g., 0.5, 1, 1.5,..., 9.5).
- Select the quantity (1 to 1000).
- Example: Trade "Yes" at a price of 4 and a quantity of 10, paying 40 units to join the contest.

Wait for Settlement:
- Orders are settled by matching opposing opinions.
- Example: If you trade "Yes" at 4, your order matches with "No" at 6.

Check Results:
- If your prediction is correct, your net winnings are calculated as 10 − trade price.
- Example: Net winnings for a trade at 4 is 6 per quantity. After platform fees (20% of net winnings), your profit is credited to your account.

How to Play: Poll Contests

Select a Category:
- Choose from available categories.

Choose an Event:
- Select an ongoing or upcoming event..

Invest in an Option:
- Poll contests have multiple options (e.g., A, B, C, D).
- Choose an option and invest an amount directly without bidding price or quantity.

Immediate Settlement:
- Investments are settled immediately with no pending orders.

Check Results:
- After the result is declared, winnings are distributed proportionally among users who invested in the winning option.
- Platform fees (20% of net winnings) are applied.

Check Results:
- If your prediction is correct, your net winnings are calculated as 10 − trade price.
- Example: Net winnings for a trade at 4 is 6 per quantity. After platform fees (20% of net winnings), your profit is credited to your account.

Selling Quantities (Yes/No Contests Only)

You can sell your quantities before the contest ends.
If you sell at a price higher than your purchase price, platform fees (20%) apply to the net profit.
If you sell at a lower price, no commission is deducted.

Refunds and Cancellations

Unsettled orders can be canceled anytime for a full refund.
If a contest is canceled or postponed, all investments are refunded.

- All settled and unsettled quantities are refunded if a contest is canceled or postponed.
- Profits from sold quantities are nullified if the contest is canceled.

Best Price Match

Feature:
- Orders are matched with the best available price up to the user’s bid price.
- Users receive a refund for the difference if matched at a lower price.

Anti-Manipulation:
- Measures are in place to prevent manipulation of prices and outcomes.

How to Play Stock Trading ?

IPO Listing in StockSaga:

Initial public offering is the process by which StockSaga issues a limited number of stocks to the public at a fixed price. So in StockSaga users would be allotted stocks of sports players and the listing would be done based on the following criteria.

IPO is bifurcated into 4 segments:

Ongoing- This displays the information about currently available stocks of Sports Players that a user can purchase.
Upcoming- This shows the future options that would be available in the coming span of time.
Completed- This displays orders executed by users.
Applied- This gives information about the deals applied by the users.

How to start trading in StockSaga:

Trading in StockSaga can be done in three simple steps:

Step 1: Research and Analyze:

Research and Analyze in depth about the listed players past and in match performance. Once that's done, predict their future performance.

Step 2: Create a Portfolio:

Build a portfolio of selective players who can be an asset in the coming days. The base price of the players are determined based on their past performances.

What is a Portfolio?

Portfolio is a list of Fantasy stocks that you have bought or sold over time.

Buying and selling :

You can enter the quantity of stocks you wish to buy/sell

You can buy and sell up to a maximum of 50 Stocks of any sports players in a single transaction StockSaga has two price modes: Market Price and Custom Price

Market Price: It is the price at which other users are buying and selling the same fantasy stock. This would give you a better execution at a prevailing market rate.

Custom Price: This allows you to set a specific price at which to buy or sell.

Once all your orders are placed, the user can visit the “Orders” section to check the status of their buy & sell orders. Every order would be displayed in two segments namely.

Pending: All the orders placed but yet to yield any type of results would be displayed here and you still have scope to modify your order. Orders can be modified in terms of their quantity and price until the order gets executed.The order will remain in pending state if the order value doesn't match the buyers/sellers order value. The order can remain in pending state for upto 3 days after which it gets canceled.

Executed: The orders which have been successfully executed or canceled are displayed in this section and can’t be modified.

Once the order is executed you can download the summary of your order details.

Remember: When you are buying fantasy stocks from StockSaga you are buying it from other existing stakeholder who have brought/Sold the stocks. StockSaga will not buy/sell stocks directly from you.

Step 3: Trade and Earn:

Monitor your players by keeping an eye on their on field performance.
As the live match progresses you can see the stock prices increase or decrease.
Once settled, start applying your skill and knowledge to buy and sell stocks of sports players depending on their performances and Earn

Step 4: Withdraw your Winnings:

You can withdraw your winnings only after completing KYC verification.
Withdrawals will take 2-3 hours if initiated within banking hours or else it will be processed on the next working day. In case of delay on the part of the Bank to credit the funds to users account, it may take up to 3 working days.
